What is an EICR?​
The EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is a certificate provided by an electrician after the assessment of a property’s electrical systems. EICR certification provides assurances that a building’s electrical systems are safe, properly installed, and well-maintained.
What’s involved in an EICR?
An EICR inspection will involve a qualified electrician personally attending your building and inspecting all mains electrical systems.
The electrician will first perform a visual inspection and check for any signs of damage, malfunction, or improper installation. All relevant electrical circuits are then safety tested.
After the inspection, the property owner will be provided with an EICR certificate.
